What comes out is the point
Plenty of tools will turn a PDF into flashcards. The difference shows up an hour later, when you are actually reviewing them.
✍️ Scans and handwriting
A page with no text layer is read as an image, so photographed slides, scanned textbook chapters and handwritten notes all work — not just clean digital PDFs.
🖼️ Figures on the cards
Diagrams are lifted out of your notes and attached to the cards they illustrate. Logos, headers and page furniture are left behind.
🔪 One idea per card
A definition, its cut-off value, its indication and its complication are four cards, not one crowded one. A 214-page script gives about 780 cards, where a coarser pass gives 400.
🌍 In whichever language you revise in
Cards follow your document by default — or ask for them in English, German, French and more. Drug names, Latin terms and units are never translated away.

Detected from the document's own headings, and only when they earn their place. A short handout comes back as one flat deck.
